Hi there
Sounds like we may be low on numbers next week, so suggest a Daisybank ride. Will try and think up a variation on usual loops, got a couple of ideas.
Cheers

Hi Chaps For a change suggest Painswick figure of 8 ride, starting at Upton St.Leonards. Like Cleeve, should stand up well to the weather. Cheers Mark B Guys – if anyone didn’t get Mark’s £50 stand a little while back ……. this http://tinyurl.com/y9r8enc is on eBay for £37 delivered – I have one and it is fine (took about a week to arrive from Germany). Have even done some work on my bike!!!!!!!! Roll on lighter evenings! Mark
Hi Chaps Suggest Crippets if the weather is ok. Have got a nice loop in mind with the climbs mainly on tracks that should not be muddy. The start is the tough bit. Cheers Mark B
Hi Chaps Suggest Cleeve Hill as it drains well. Rode Lecky yesterday and lots has melted but still very slippy at the top. Meet at usual place. Cheers Mark B
My suggestion, having been out this morning, it to ride from Alastair’s pad up the big Timbercombe climb and do a ‘Coberley’ route. This will take us on ‘passable’ trails and towards Sandy Lane or Daisybank downhills that are awesome – the bumps at DB or Sandy Lane are simply glorious. I reckon we will still have hard packed snow on higher ground, Tuesday night, so all should be rideable. The track from Ullenwood pylons is er- snow bound! The route I am thinking will take us over a field where the snow is thick but rideable. So, Alastair’s drive, 6.15 p.m. – okay? Am going up to Cannock Chase to do a ride with Tony Watson and his local mtb mates … anyone interested in coming along? cheers,
Daisybank for Lecky Hill and beyond… Let us know if you can / cannot make it and Happy New Year, ride on into 2010
Who is available for the 29th? My stomach has grown – need to ride !! Too many mice pies Guys I’m doing a ride with Tony Watson (rode with us occasionally a few years back) on the Saturday morning after New Year. Plan is to meet at 11 AM for a 2 hour-ish ride – he is travelling down from Birmingham with some friends he rides with. Although not finalised, we will either ride Bredon Hill or from Stanton – a mid point for us. So any one around and interested in joining us? cheers, Mark M |
