Weather forecast is for showers Tuesday, so suggest we do a local ride and meet Daisy Bank car park. We can make a call tomorrow afternoon when I have a better idea how the weather is looking.

Guys - unless someone has already plotted something else in my absence , am suggesting a ride from Cranham Royal William. That is if I have recovered from the lurgy I brought back with me from holiday…… so no promises about being able to lead / attend at this stage!

Suggest a Cleeve Hill ride for next Tuesday because:

1) It drains well
2) No trees mean we can make the most of the light

The forecast is drier for next week so hopefully more of you can make it? I know Ross isn’t around though…

As the weather’s been so foul today I suggest a local ride for tomorrow.

How about 6.15 at Daisybank? Will try and find a ride which avoids the worst of the mud….

I shall be up for riding pretty much whatever the weather as it’s still pretty warm but realise most people will not be up for it if it’s raining!

Please post if you plan to ride but let me know Tuesday afternoon if it’s raining and you want to cancel.

Cheers for the ‘jump around like a spring lamb’ ride last night Mark.

Shall we go for the meet at Royal William for a ‘blast through woods madness with added ‘fastest I’ve gone through the bomb hole, cleared the double step drop and not sure whether I cleared roots after the lumpy bit but who cares, so long as I don’t snap my chain again on a random chain mashing log which meant the guys following nearly hit me at full pelt coz I didn’t want to stand in the stingers to get out the way when I stopped’?

And can we utilise the guiding skills of Olly as he seems to show us something new quite often?

Guys - will have (yet) another go at doing the Crippetts ride …. if the weather is kind to us and some of you are not on holiday. Usual - post reply if riding / advise anything on the day by phone please.

Speaking of holidays - need to let you know I will not be around to arrange rides after this one until the one on Tuesday 30 September …. over to you folks!
