All about the rides that have happened

How about moving our ride nights back to Tuesdays? Makes no difference to me but would mean some are able to join us more often.  Views please!!

Proposal for this week is an old favourite but not done for a while. Park on the road at Wainlodes Hill (not the pub parking..they’ll moan). Plan to ride Coombe Hill canal if passable and or up to Apperley. Failing that or if we’re still keen there is always the hill at Wainlodes!

Please post if riding. Meet for 6:30 off.

now postponed, as a couple of you cannot make it. Watch this space for the new date…

It’s a milestone birthday for me this month, so good excuse to have a curry night.
Let me know if you can make it & will book table at Balti Walla.
Plan – meet there 7:30, BYO booze, then onto pub.

Cheers

Thanks to Mark M, Tony & Steve for joining me on an enjoyable local ride last week. Started off cloudy then bathed in brilliant sunshine after initial climb.
Was quite an interesting ride insofar as we had representation from 3 different wheel sizes (26, 650b, 29er) and surprisingly the majority of us were on hardtails! Made me think back to when I started riding with HotSingletrack (circa 10 years ago) & the first tentative steps into full suss territory for some members, when the only wheel size available was 26”. On the face of it much has changed since then, but I finished the ride musing have we actually gone full circle? A group of mates blasting round the trails on hardtails…
