Hi guys, thanks Mark for the ride on the 8th, enjoyed the ‘new’ trail discovery and of course the BOMBHOLES! We haven’t been out on Cleeve for some time, do we want to go there Tuesday? I think I can remember a route round (our usual), but there is a preference for another location I’m easy. Hope to you all next week, Pete

    Hi Pete

Cleeve sounds great, haven’t been there for a while and there is a wicked natural half pipe gully to ride. Hopefully be over lurgi by then.

Check out this wacky downhill rig…

  2. Sounds good, as long as it’s not too long and tough!

Think this one is going to be a tad too technical for me so I’ll give it a miss this week. Have a good ride guys.

    Hi Pete

Sorry to bail but can’t make it. Shame, as Cleeve ride would be awesome. Enjoy…

P.S. some good clips of Afan on Youtube, should be a cool trip….

Should be there… assuming anybody else is still coming!

Hi. Aiming to be there. Not done the Cleeve ride for a bit so looking forward to it!

Good to see some are coming, the scary bit is my knowledge of Cleeve is only ok! As for technical, I would say there is a lot more xc, tiny bit of proper singletrack, lots of sheep and a badger skeleton (minus it’s front legs), will post the pic on my flickr in the near future!

Hi boys, bike is in the car and kit in my bag so looks like you will see me tonight….traffic and weather permitting…will try to be on time!
Pete, guess we could repeat a bit of Sat’s ride but won’t be out too long.. Hope everyone has seen my Email re:Afan arrangements

Was aiming to join you, but it is hissing down out there now so will pass for tonite and aim to go tomorrow instead. If you guys do go, enjoy the wet and take care – I’ve noticed on recent rides up there that the weather has dug some deep channels and thrown some large rocks in and on what were quite safe tracks until now, especially around the quarry and sheep wash areas. That was ace! The rain stopped as we started. I don’t think I could have been much muddier by the end, mind.
