So, Cleeve Hill awaits, should be dry and fast
Let’s meet at the usual place, climb up and spin down, then up a bit, zoom back down, practise our jumps, dodge the golf balls and enjoy the spectacular views from the common…
Who’s up for it?
BTW, anyone spotted a certain someone’s article in MBR – summer edition?!

Hi all,
This coming Saturday, 3rd July 2010, I set off with a friend on a two week bike ride from Lands End to John o’ Groats.
Obviously we’re doing this for the sheer challenge but taking the opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research as we (like most people) have friends, relatives and colleagues who have been affected.
So if you would like to help, please have a look at our charity site, http://www.justgiving.com/twomadblokes and follow our progress at our website, http://twomadblokes.com .
Any support gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Alastair

Hmmm, where shall we go when it’s so dry? I know…
CRANHAM
But is Olly available?

Plan is Cranham blast, whilst it is nice and dry. Incorporating the new DH section before the Sawmill, very sweet trail…

As suggested by Mark B, let’s do a ride starting from Stanton … plan is to reverse the ride we did last summer to avoid the steep hill from the start. Usual 6:15 off, post here if riding or contact me by phone on the day if anything changes.
cheers

Hi there
Planning Upton St Leonards ride. Big climb to start with, then fun blast round Painswick Beacon and long descent back to village.
Hopefully good weather but Painswick stands upto rain better than Cranham. Post if you are riding.
Cheers

Ride cancelled due to weather
Hello all
Suggest a Cranham ride. All the usual favourite sections linked together plus Olly mentioned a new DH section that sounds good.

Suggestion is to ride from the Royal William at Cranham and do the ‘trout farm’ loop through the woods towards Sheepscombe. Please post if you’re riding etc…

May be light on numbers this week, so suggest a local ride. Meet usual place by Daisybank. Just need to fix my puncture now…
Cheers

p.s. Don’t forget, curry night on Thurs 27th. Have booked a table for us now and ordered some extra garlic for Dom…

Suggest a start at Crippetts, across the top and then down into Timbercombe. There could be time for Tony to get in his round at the Green Dragon too.
No downhilling expertise required!
Hope to see you there, please post to say if you can make it.
Alastair
