My suggestion, having been out this morning, it to ride from Alastair’s pad up the big Timbercombe climb and do a ‘Coberley’ route. This will take us on ‘passable’ trails and towards Sandy Lane or Daisybank downhills that are awesome – the bumps at DB or Sandy Lane are simply glorious. I reckon we will still have hard packed snow on higher ground, Tuesday night, so all should be rideable. The track from Ullenwood pylons is er- snow bound! The route I am thinking will take us over a field where the snow is thick but rideable.
So, Alastair’s drive, 6.15 p.m. – okay?

Hi Dom
Will be there. Attempted Upper Cobberly windy ridge but ended up pushing bike yesterday but you are right, coming down Sandy Lane is fantastic at the moment.

Hi Dom,
Hope you had a good ride this morning. We enjoyed it although it was quite tricky in places.
Afraid I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to make Tuesday’s ride. Tony & I are on a five day course in Swindon. I think that it finishes at 5pm so it’s unlikely that either of us will be able to make it.
Furthermore, have you tried climbing up the hill above Timbercombe Woods in the snow? It’s a lot steeper than Daisybank and was impossible last year when we had much less snow. Might be OK for coming down but I would suggest Daisybank as a starting point.
Good luck and we will try to get back in time.

Timbercombe climb may be too much, but we can see how we feel tomorrow.
I will be there at the back as usual LOL.
We will meet at my house, text me if you need the address, but Mark, Andrew, John know where I am !
Cheers
