Who’s up for a ride tomorrow then? Tis a little short notice I know, could meet at Daisy Bank at the usual time and then go from there. Text me if you have my number, other wise will check tinterweb when I get home (though this takes a reasonable chunk of ‘change and get up the hill time’). Bring your water-wings!

    Hi Pete

Will be there 6:15. Did Daisy bank to Severn Springs on Saturday (in the snow) and there were some big trees blocking the path. Made it over though and hopefully cleared now. It’s gonna be a muddy one :0)

Pete – you’re a braver man than me …. I was waiting for the 24hr forecast to show the evening weather! But at least it looks like the rain forecast for tomorrow will be over by 3pm-ish tho it will be windy. Won’t make it over myself – but have a good one!

  4. Not sure if I’ll be able to make it.

Like Mark B, Tony & I got out in the snow on Saturday morning. Great views but hard going as the snow was so wet. A couple of pics at http://picasaweb.google.com/alastairpetrie/BirdlipBikeRide120108

Mark M – have you still got a bike? Haven’t seen you for ages – unless you count the pre Christmas Hotsingleworkdo.

I hate to admit it, but I am feeling faint hearted about this one due to the appalling weather, so am going to give it a miss. Oh and I forgot to charge up my lights as well. Feeble excuses I know, but the best I can come up with! Have a good one, you guys that do make it.

I’m a tentative yes for this one.

Mark – those trees were still down on Sunday, though the one on the old tramway’s been cleared now.
